TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Although not marketed as our game of the week, Thomas County Central’s game against Houston County pits two of the best in Georgia against each other.

The Yellow Jackets (8-0) welcome the Bears (8-0) to the Jackets Nest for a GHSA AAAAA Division 2 battle. Both these teams have man-handled their opponents this year. Thomas County Central’s closest game was a 14-point win over Lee County. Houston County won by five points in a low scoring affair early this season as their closest game.

The Yellow Jackets have never lost against Houston, but for a team that’s barely had to break a sweat to win this year, it’s the exact kind of test Thomas County Central needs before playoffs begin.
