The Pueblo South Colts hosted the Harrison Panthers for another 3A Pikes Peak league game Thursday, Oct. 23.
The Colts were riding high on a two-game win streak, and the Panthers were hoping to play spoiler.
The Colts came were determined to get the lead early on and that's what they did. They opened the scoring with a touchdown pass from Caeden Herrera to Landon Cordova. Shortly after Herrera threw another touchdown pass to Jake Pisciotta. After, Chace Hurley rushed for a touchdown and before long it was 21-7, and by halftime the score was 35-21.
Harrison was trying to make a game out of it, but the Colts shut the door in the second half, scoring 27 unanswered points, winning the game 62-21. Piscotta had four total touchdowns, Herrera threw for four touchdowns, and Hurley rushed for fo
