ST. LOUIS — It could be Tusky, or maybe Logan Cooley’s natural hat trick.

Either way, the Utah Mammoth have won five straight after striking the right tune against the St. Louis Blues in the Enterprise Center on Thursday.

The first period was as dominant as any since Utah joined the NHL. With Ian Cole opening the floodgates and Cooley pouring in three straight, the Mammoth marched to an early 4-0 lead. St. Louis slowly but surely played its way back into striking distance. But Clayton Keller and Nick Schmaltz would put the nail in the coffin with two third-period scores.

After the 7-4 victory, Utah is tied for the most wins in the NHL at six.
