A 19-year-old Philadelphia man will spend three and a half to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to nearly hitting two Pennsylvania State Police troopers and five construction workers during a high-speed chase last year.
Just before 1 a.m. May 9, 2024, a trooper tried to perform a traffic stop after seeing Keniel Ian Junio Wright, who was 17 at the time, driving erratically on Lincoln Highway West near Brackbill Road in Salisbury Township.
Instead of pulling over, Wright started a nine-mile police chase, driving at speeds up to 130 miles per hour, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.
