Jackie Kennedy's grandson has ripped into Donald Trump for demolishing her famous White House garden.

Jack Schlossberg , the 32-year-old grandson of the former first lady , expressed his frustration with the Trump administration on Instagram after they ripped out his grandmother's Rose Garden, located in the building's East Wing.

They are concreting over the entire garden to make way for the president's $300 million ballroom.

"My grandmother saw America in full colour — Trump sees black and white. Where she planted flowers, he poured concrete," the post starts.

"She brought life to the White House, because our landmarks should inspire and grow with our country."
