BALDWIN PARK — San Dimas leaned on its bruishing rushing attack to take care of Baldwin Park, 38-28, in Thursday’s Valle Vista League game.

The Saints didn’t pass for any yards, they didn’t need to. They piled up 374 yards on the ground to improve to 5-4 and 2-2 in league play, improving their playoff chances with one game left.

“I think it was just a team effort,” San Dimas coach Mark Holman said. “The (offensive) line stepped up and you can’t run the ball without the (offensive) line. I’m proud of all the guys that stepped up, it was basically a group effort running the ball tonight.”

The Saints’ Daniel Baeza led all rushers with 205 yards on 13 carries with two touchdowns.
