PARMA HEIGHTS — Addyson Rumskey, Aubrey Verdova and a magnificent Aurora defense called game.

Tied after two razor-thin sets, the eighth-seeded Greenmen volleyball team stepped up its game in the third and fourth sets to deliver the program's first district title with a 25-23, 21-25, 25-16, 25-21 win over second-seeded Padua Franciscan.

A marathon of a night ended on a marathon of a point. The Bruins and Greenmen went back and forth until Rumskey stood tall and delivered the match-clinching block — with a little help from Verdova at her side.
