For the first time since 1988, Manalapan (No. 10 in the NJ.com Top 20) will play in the Shore Conference Tournament final following a 2-1 comeback win over Rumson-Fair Haven at the Memorial Athletic Complex in Neptune.

The undefeated top seed in the Shore Conference Tournament trailed at halftime for the first time this season before scoring twice in the second half.

The loss ends a promising tournament run for the Bulldogs, who are now 12-7.

Manalapan takes a perfect 15-0 record into Saturday’s championship game against No. 10 seed Trinity Hall. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Memorial Athletic Complex.
