Case filed against Bollywood actors Shreyas Talpade, Alok Nath, and 22 others alleging fraud and duping Rs 5 crore.

More than 500 people in the district were duped of Rs 5 crore by promising to double their money in five years by getting them to invest in The Loni Urban Multi-State Credit and Thrift Cooperative Society. After investors failed to receive their money for a year, the agents filed a case against 22 accused, including the society’s brand ambassadors, actors Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath, at the Baghpat police station.
