Twelve northeastern South Dakota players from Watertown, Aberdeen Central and Groton Area have been named to the 2025 South Dakota High School Soccer Coaches Association's all-state teams .

South Dakota's 2025 high school season concluded on Saturday, Oct. 18 with four state championship matches in Rapid City.

Area all-state honorees include senior midfielder Derek Arunsalam of Aberdeen Central, a repeat first-team selection; senior goalkeeper Zander Kuhfeld of Aberdeen Central and junior forward-midfielder Xane Fligge of Watertown (9 goals, 6 assists), second team; and senior defender Gavin Yost of Aberdeen Central, honorable mention.
