The Chattahoochee Gold Swim Club hosted the 24th Annual Chattahoochee Gold Invitational, its largest such meet, at the Cumming Aquatic Center on Oct. 17-19, featuring top-tier performances throughout the weekend.
Cherokee County high school standouts, including River Ridge’s Jersey Saylor and Sequoyah’s Gracelee Lowry were among the competitors for the Gold. Saylor, the county’s 2024-25 Girls Swimmer of the Year picked up a pair of second and three third-place medals after helping the Knights win a fourth consecutive county swim championship last year.
