AUBURN — Could another loss cost Hugh Freeze his job? It certainly feels possible.
Auburn football suffered a fourth consecutive loss and fell below .500 last weekend, on this occasion in double-overtime against then-No. 16 Missouri. It continued a winless start to SEC play and has only heightened discussions surrounding Freeze's job security.
The Tigers will face Arkansas on Saturday, Oct. 25, ( 11:45 a.m. CT, SECN ) to enter the back half of league play when the schedule certainly lightens up. Auburn 's remaining SEC opponents include ranked Alabama and Vanderbilt squads, but they're 16-11 overall and 6-8 against the SEC.
