NEW DELHI: A woman doctor working at a government hospital in Maharashtra ’s Satara district has died by suicide, leaving a note accusing two police personnel of rape and mental harassment, police said on Friday. According to news agency PTI, the victim was found hanging in a hotel room in Phaltan late on Thursday night, prompting authorities to launch an investigation, a police official said. The doctor, originally from Beed district, worked at a hospital in Phaltan tehsil, the official added.
