Paisley has been crowned Scotland's Town of the Year, with judges impressed with the town's "resurgence".
Judges in the Scotland Loves Local Awards handed Paisley the title, praising the town on its reinvention over the past decade, saying "incredibly special things are happening".
It comes as new businesses open, homes are built, with a new state-of-the-art secondary school and a transformed Paisley Museum set to open next year.
