GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Alachua County Animal Resources is their ACAR After Dark Halloween event on Saturday.
Officials say all adoption fees will be waived during the event. There will be face painting, local vendors, and Halloween festivities. Attendees will also be able to hand out treats to dogs as part of their shelter dog trick-or-treat.

There will also be a trunk or treat with volunteers and a Touch-a-Truck for the kids.
The event will be 3400 Northeast 53rd Avenue in Gainesville. It will start at 6 p.m. and go until 10 p.m.
