HYDRANT FLUSHING − Sebring Village plans fire hydrant flushing to begin Oct. 27 at Sebring Water Treatment Plant on Knox School Road and will continue north throughout the village until all hydrants are flushed. Maple Ridge and Beloit water customers will be included. Customers might experience fluctuations in pressure and discoloration of their water. Postpone washing clothes and limit your use of hot water until cold water clears. Discoloration typically clears within 24 hours.

YWCA TRIVIA – A trivia night to benefit YWCA of Alliance is planned from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 13 at Don Panchos Tex-Mex Café, 2105 W. State St. in Alliance. Tickets are $30 per person, which includes the taco bar, soft drinks and gratuity. Teams of four will compete.
