GURDASPUR: The family of Jashanpreet Singh, a 21-year-old semi-truck driver who was arrested in California after an eight-vehicle crash on a southern California freeway left three dead and four injured, is struggling to come to terms with the tragedy. Back home in Purana Shala village, Punjab, the atmosphere is heavy with grief and disbelief. Singh’s parents, Kulwinder Singh and Jasveer Kaur, and his younger sister are in shock. Kulwinder, a school bus driver, can barely speak as relatives console the family, while Jasveer Kaur pleads for help to save her son. “Please help our boy.
