The incident quickly drew public attention, given Sachin’s long-standing reputation in the music industry. According to reports, Sachin was detained and later released on bail. His lawyer, Aditya Mithe, issued a statement asserting that the accusations were “completely baseless and unsubstantiated.” He added that the detention itself was unlawful, which is why his client was granted bail soon after.
