Anthony Tirico threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as Seneca defeated Willingboro, 28-21, in Tabernacle, to lock up at least a share of the West Jersey Football League Continental Division title.
Seneca (7-2, 4-1) can win the title outright if Paul VI is is able to defeat Haddonfield (5-2, 3-1) Friday. Paul VI, at 2-2 in the division, was in line for a share of the crown with a Willingboro win, but will now be playing just for pride.
Tirico threw a 45-yard TD pass to Nate Sauerwald and a 41-yarder to Gabe Atz to stake the Golden Eagles to a 14-6 lead. He added a 2-yard run and a second aerial to Sauerwald in the second half.
Willingboro is 4-5 and 1-4.
