Hyderabad: Following the horrific bus accident in Kurnool , Andhra Pradesh, the Hyderabad Traffic Police along with Transport Department officials stepped up inspections across the city on Friday.

Special drives were intensified in areas such as Ameerpet and SR Nagar, where several private travel buses were thoroughly checked.

Officials verified vehicle fitness certificates, insurance papers, and other permits. Buses found operating without valid documents were seized on the spot.
