FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Jermaine Johnson doesn’t want to be traded, and he doesn’t expect to be.
With the Nov. 4 deadline nearing, Johnson’s name has come up in trade rumors, and he said he has received “clarity” about his future from the Jets. On Wednesday, he posted a GIF from “The Wolf of Wall Street” on social media of Leonardo DiCaprio saying, “I’m not going anywhere.”
“There’s clarity in the building as far as that,” Johnson told Newsday on Thursday. “So I’m not really worried about that kind of stuff. I’m wanted here, and I want to stay here, so it’s as simple as that. That’s what it’s going to be.”
There are a number of Jets, and some prominent ones, who could be moved by the deadline.
