Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has approved the Rabi Campaign 2025-26, aiming to cover approximately 29.30 lakh hectares under various crops, including pulses, oilseeds, vegetables, and sugarcane. The campaign targets a production of 23.26 lakh metric tons of food grains, 8.20 lakh metric tons of pulses, and 4.21 lakh metric tons of oilseeds.
Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja approved the campaign on October 22, 2025, emphasising the need for focused and coordinated efforts to implement flagship programs such as the Prime Minister’s Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana, National Pulse Mission, and National Horticulture Mission.
The government aims to achieve self-sufficiency in pulses and oilseeds through strategic planning and effective implementation. The Rabi Programme 2025-26 has been formulated
