The Medicine Hat Tigers shook the B.C. blues with a win Wednesday.
They’ll hope to shake a different kind of bug in the second half of the trip.
They recorded their first win on the six-game trip with a 6-3 victory Wednesday at Prince George over the Cougars. It was a shorthanded win for the Tigers, skating with just 17 due to the late scratch of defenceman Bryce Pickford. The Tigers’ captain was scratched due to illness, the same reason Cam Parr was out of the lineup. It’s an illness they’ve dealt with since heading to B.C.
Starter Jordan Switzer led the Tigers’ effort in the win, making 32 saves for his sixth win of the season and 30th of his WHL career.
Prince George out-shot the Tigers 35-27 with Medicine Hat winning the face-off bat
