In Richmond, British Columbia, fear and confusion are setting in. Hundreds of homeowners have been told their property ownership may no longer be secure after a B.C. Supreme Court ruling granted the Cowichan Nation Aboriginal title over privately owned land in southeast Richmond. Despite appeals now underway, residents are left wondering what this means for their homes, their investments, and their futures.
