Thursday was a wild day in NBA news, with Miami Heat vet Terry Rozier arrested by the FBI amid a sports betting investigation, while Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups was arrested as part of an illegal poker probe.

But was longtime referee Scott Foster -- who NBA fans love to rip on -- arrested as part of that investigation?

The answer is: No. There are some fake social media posts saying he was arrested, and we're here to debunk them. He wasn't arrested as part of the investigation. Seems like a joke that got a little out of hand judging by what we've seen on social media.

There you have it. He wasn't arrested.
