"Everything else is replaceable. Sucks but you know, we will recover," says Krystal Davis, a resident at the Germantown Garden Apartments.

The fire started at around 4:30am Thursday. Dozens of residents evacuated the building, as they took what little they could save from their homes. Residents say that pets are still missing.

The exact number of people who were evacuated is unknown at this time. No one was hurt.

Davis recalls the morning of the incident. She says she was taking her dog on a walk when she saw the flames. "I went to go find out where it was at and start banging on doors and yelling fire."
