BANGOR, Maine (WABI & WMTW) - According to polling data released by the University of New Hampshire Thursday night, Maine’s two citizens initiatives on the ballot this November currently deadlocked.

According to the Pine Tree Poll, 48% of voters intend to vote “yes” on Question 1 about voter ID and electoral reform, while 49% intend to vote “no.” On Question 2, the red flag law, 38% intend to vote “yes” and 40% intend to vote “no.” They say nearly one-third of Mainers claim do not understand Question 2 well.

And despite the recently resurfaced and controversial posts from his past, Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner is soaring.
