Former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels urged state Senate Republicans to not to “cave to White House pressure to redistrict,” suggesting they would face negative public repercussions. The Republican said the district lines were already fairly drawn, and there was no “amount of line-drawing artistry” that could turn the state's 7th Congressional District “into a Republican seat."
