Thanks to rising country singer Annie Bosko , I have attained a little insider information about Dwight Yoakam 's cell phone.

Bosko — who just dropped her debut album, California Cowgirl — stopped by Taste of Country Nights to talk about it, and we hyper-focused on the track called "Heart Burn," which features Yoakam.

We asked Bosko how she got him to collaborate on a song with her.

She said, "I became friends with he and his wife, they had come to a show of mine. I asked him, I wrote him a hand-written note with a flash drive of the song and I was like, 'You know what? What do you have to lose?'"
