The Scottish SPCA has thanked the people of Lanarkshire for their donations following a desperate appeal .
Earlier this month, the animal welfare charity launched an appeal for spare blankets and toys for its resident cats and dogs to use.
The Hamilton-based rescue centre was looking to replenish its supply to make sure all the animals can keep warm and cosy, with temperatures beginning to drop ahead of winter.
And thanks to the generosity of the region's animal lovers, staff at the centre have been left "overwhelmed" by the success of the donation drive.
And pictures shared by the Scottish SPCA show that the animals are also all very grateful, already making the most of the recent donations.
