In Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere , Jeremy Allen White swapped the chaos of Carmy Berzatto’s kitchen for The Boss’s quiet focus while writing his album Nebraska . Shot in the tight window between The Bear ’s third and fourth seasons , the biopic also challenged the hair, makeup, and costume teams to transform the Emmy-winning actor—and Oscar-contender—into Bruce Springsteen, circa 1981.

“We couldn't change him drastically because of the TV show,” says hair department head Jameson Eaton, who collaborated closely with makeup department head Jackie Risotto.
