SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Police Department has arrested several people in connection with the alleged human trafficking and sexual assault of a child.
The child, who was initially reported as a runaway from the state of New Jersey, was located by Shreveport Police officers.
Investigators said the child had been subjected to a violent sexual incident involving several people and obtained arrest warrants for Daiquan Blackman.
The Special Response Team executed these warrants on Wednesday, just after 2 p.m., at an apartment complex near the intersection of Forum Drive and Hearn Avenue. There, they found and arrested Blackman for two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles.
