MIDLAND — Back in September, after watching his team topple two conference opponents, Croswell-Lexington boys tennis coach Scott Cummings realized something.

"Imlay City and Yale were going to be our toughest competition in the BWAC," Cummings said. "We beat both of those teams in duals pretty handily. So, that was when I thought, maybe, we could make a run at (the league championship)."
