Board Reviews FY27 Budget Proposal
The Oklahoma State Board of Education heard from Chief Financial Officer Kristen Stevens as she outlined the department’s Fiscal Year 2027 budget request, which remains similar to the current year’s plan. Stevens said the agency received about 97% of its funding requests in recent years, with 99.5% of the budget flowing directly to local school districts.
