Reversing his former distaste for the former governor, New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Thursday formally endorsed Andrew Cuomo for mayor.

Despite previously calling him "a snake" and "a liar," Adams endorsed Cuomo in Harlem yesterday, adding that he is disappointed he was not in the race himself.

"Am I angry that I am not the one taking down Zohran, the socialist and the communist? You're darn right I am," said Adams, who dropped out of the race in September. "But you know what? The city means more to me than anything."

Cuomo went up in the polls by 13 points when Adams exited the race, likely picking up support from voters who had previously liked Adams.
