The terrorism trial for Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra movement, was adjourned on Friday. Citing the inability to access his case file after his legal team's dismissal, Kanu failed to present his defense for the second consecutive day.
Kanu informed the Federal High Court in Abuja that the lack of key case documents hindered his ability to proceed. He emphasized that former lawyers had not transferred his case file.
