Wisconsin's FoodShare funding is set to run out Nov. 1 due to the federal government shutdown.

County officials say they're waiting to hear further guidance from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on how to respond.

With just days to go before FoodShare runs out of money , people who rely on Wisconsin's food assistance program are scrambling to make sense of their options.
