Police are appealing for the public’s help as they investigate a crash in Oakford which saw seven people, including a baby, rushed to hospital with injuries.

The three-car collision involved a black Kia Carnival van, a grey Mazda 6 hatchback and a black Nissan Navara Ute, with the vehicles colliding on Nicholson Road near Thomas Road about 11.45am on Wednesday.

The 58-year-old driver of the Nissan Navara was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital with critical injuries before he was transferred to Sir Charles Gairdner hospital.

He was in a critical but stable condition on Thursday morning, according to 7NEWS .
