Bleau, Gouin fuel Sharks’ victory

Joshua Bleau and Brendan Gouin each scored twice Thursday in the Wheatley Omstead Sharks’ 9-3 win over the Walpole Island Wild in the Provincial Junior Hockey League’s Stobbs Division. Article content Article content Article content

Kyle Bleau added a goal and three assists in front of 150 fans at the Walpole Island Sports Complex.

Seth Zylstra, Xander Zanier, Hayden Klem and Vito Alfano also scored for the Sharks (7-6-0-0) and Adam Flanagan made 18 saves.

Dexter Vancoillie had two goals, Evan Derikx scored one and Jackson Sterling made 33 saves for the Wild (1-14-0-0).

On Wednesday, Colton Selwood and Zylstra scored in the Sharks’ 5-2 loss to the Amherstburg Admirals (5-5-1-0) before 235 fans at Wheatley Area Arena.
