One of the biggest fundraisers of the year is coming up this weekend for the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter called “BARCStoberfest.”
BARCS in Cherry Hill may have exactly who folks are looking for. From big dogs to little ones, they take in more than 12,000 animals a year. Next weekend, on Oct. 25, in Patterson Park, they’re hosting their 21st annual BARCStoberfest. Bailey Deacon from BARCS has more on the upcoming fundraising event.
“It’s a run, it’s a walk. There’s a beer garden, there’s shopping, there’s food trucks, but it really all comes back to helping us. Save lives here at the shelter,” Deacon said.
BARCStoberfest is their biggest fundraiser of the year, and their goal is a big one as they hope to raise $375,000.
