House Republican leaders are feeling good about their chances in next year’s midterm elections now that they have edged out the Democrats in 2025 fundraising through September.

The last time that happened was in 2015, the year before Republicans won the House and Senate and President Donald Trump shocked the world by beating Hillary Rodham Clinton, who was considered a shoo-in to succeed former President Barack Obama.
