MONTEREY – Monterey Police Officers arrested a man responsible for three hit-and-run incidents in one night.

The incidents took place on Oct. 18 after Ulises Hernandez, a 40 year old man from Madera, left a party at the Monterey County Fairground.

Hernandez, driving a red Toyota Corolla eastbound on Fairgrounds Road, first rear-ended a silver Honda Pilot. A juvenile passenger of the Honda Pilot sustained injuries from the crash.

As the driver of the Honda Pilot exited his car to speak with Hernandez, however, Hernandez reversed his vehicle and fled the scene, striking a parked white Honda CR-V.

Officers were dispatched to investigate the incident. Meanwhile, dispatch received a report of another hit-and-run, this time on the 2100 block of North Fremont Street.
