MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Saturday is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
Police departments across New Hampshire will collect expired or unwanted medications, no questions asked, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

All drugs are handed over to the Drug Enforcement Administration for safe destruction.
Items that will not be accepted in drop boxes:
Needles
Sharps
Syringes
Liquids
Inhalers
Aerosols
Marijuana
The Drug Enforcement Administration will accept vaping devices and cartridges as long as lithium batteries are removed from those devices before disposal.
