Over nine hundred special trains will operate in the next three days in view of the festival rush. The Railways Ministry said, over six thousand special trains have been notified to facilitate passengers returning after celebrating the Diwali and Chhath festival. It said, around thirty stations in Bihar are equipped with additional ticket counters, CCTV surveillance, and other passenger-friendly arrangements to maintain smooth operations during the Chhath festivities. In Patna, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, and Gaya, medical booths have been set up to address any passenger health emergencies. The Ministry said that Automatic Ticket Vending Machines, Passenger Reservation System counters, and mobile unreserved ticketing facilities have been set up to make travel more convenient for passengers.
