Dodgers 4, Blue Jays 3

Moneyline

The DODGERS (-155) are moderate favorites. The only thing the Jays have is the element of surprise with a 22-year-old rookie without a lot of tape on him. It also could be a good thing they went 7 games as we have seen teams struggle in the past after a lengthy layoff. However, this Dodgers team is just different and loaded. I'll take the chalk.

Run line/Against the spread

Take the BLUE JAYS +1.5 (-130). Ultimately, that layoff for the Dodgers concerns me as they could misfire out of the gate. The Jays are at a good enough price to keep it within a run for me to run with.

Over/Under

It's an ongoing theme, but the Dodgers' layoff leads me to the UNDER 7.5 (-105). Yesavage, the 20th overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft, has certainly not performed under this microscope, but he has the arsenal to miss bats. Snell has been unreal this postseason after missing much of the year due to injury.
