STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The plan to revitalize and restore the North Shore Esplanade will continue with the assistance of a $5.4 million investment.
Councilmember Kamillah Hanks, who represents the North Shore, announced the new funding for the key waterfront space located at Westervelt Avenue and Richmond Terrace alongside NYC Parks Borough Commissioner Joseph Homsey.
The project is part of the city’s broader effort to sustainably transform Staten Island’s waterfront.
