The 2025 World Series kicks off tonight, pairing the reigning champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers, against the surprise AL-winners, the Toronto Blue Jays (the only team that makes the “World” Series remotely international). It should be an exciting showdown of generational talent, and a chance to see Clayton Kershaw’s final major league appearances (his inclusion in the WS roster was just confirmed last night). Also making a surprise return will be Bo Bichette, who was added to the Jays’ roster this morning ahead of Game One.
