Rob Edwards is confident his squad will cope with the demands of a short turnaround in between games, as he admitted he may have to freshen things up when Wrexham visit.
The two sides meet in a league game for the first time ever after the North Wales club’s historic rise up the leagues in the last three years. Boro come into the game in good mood after two consecutive wins that sees them sitting second in the Championship.
But having made harder work of a win over Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, Edwards admits the short turnaround between the games may result in changes to the Boro team. If so, he’s sure whoever comes into the side will step up.
