Marvel's latest team of Avengers replacements are a literal joke, but it's a good one. In Marvel's dark Age of Revelation future, Earth's Mightiest Heroes' have been all-but-killed off, leaving their legacy to be preserved by the few heroes that remain, including a group of glorified cosplayers who declare themselves " the Alpha Warriors ."

AIPT shared an exclusive preview for Undeadpool #1, written by Tim Seeley, with art by Carlos Magno. The pages introduce this new quasi-Avengers squad, and even give them an action scene.

That said, Marvel readers shouldn't expect them to last long, as it seems likely they're going to serve as cannon fodder for the zombie version of Deadpool .
