Although The Boys universe has some excellent characters and unforgettable storylines, its parody elements also lead to numerous graphic scenes, and Gen V season 2's grossest gag played a surprisingly big role in the finale. With Gen V season 2's gory opening scene setting the tone, it was no surprise to see the spinoff show featuring more disturbing imagery.

Each episode introduced some questionable powers and featured scenes you definitely wouldn't want to watch with your parents. However, one recurring gag seemed like it was being repeated with no real payoff, yet Gen V season 2's ending made it count in the most significant way by giving one comic relief character a major role in the final battle.
